Do Air Force X Ray techs travel a fair bit?

Hi I'm planning on joining the AF in one of the tech fields but I wanted to make sure I would be able to travel alot. Also if anyone knows how long would it take for someone to get in the AF? I have 2 years of JROTC and abit of college credit some I'm hoping to get in as a E3. Thanks alot in advance.
