Do you think my friend's problems are partially my fault?

i met him in 6th grade. he was even more awkward than me. we were both on some weird video game nerd/ wigger sh1t. and we were both like that through 6th, 7th, and some of 8th grade. then he started hanging out with me and some of my other friends. and he started to change some. he started to become more popular, and i was ok with that, then he started to think he was the sh1t a little bit. he started hanging out with me and my other best friend, who started to influence him some.( he's a "cool" guy, he does some bad sh1t but he stays cool generally). pretty soon(the main guy im talking about) was changing a lot. He was not really nice like he used to be. he talked a lot more and talk sh1t a lot more. and b1tches actually wanted him for the first time in his life. i wasn't mad at that, i was happy for him, it's just he wasn't the same. he cared about superficial sht he never cared about before. and mainly, he didn't treat me the same. when me and him and my other friend were hanging out, he would sometimes act like i could never be on the same level as him. so, that summer ended, and we werent around eachother quite as much. we went do different high schools now. i remember early 9th grade, him and my other friend got in a fight and my otherfriend basically called him out saying he wouldn't have been sh1t without him, and he would still be a nerd and his ego was so big.( this had some to do with a fight we had in a band we were in, i was never really offensive, i usually just tried to watch and moderate, im the fat guy of the group, compared to them anyway lol). that passed and this guy started changing even more. he started smoking weed, which i was like whatever, but i didnt do it. then, one day, he did pcp. he couldn't handle it. so, he went to the hospital, and his parents made him transfer schools. then coencidentally, my other friend transferred to the same school. so they continued in a similar fashion as before, all the while this guy getting even wilder. so, through 9th grade, i wasnt hanging out with these guys quite as much. but, he was getting kind of mellower towards me. fastforward to spring 10th grade. this guy is doing crazy sht, he's done all sorts of drugs, drank a lot and just behaved recklessly.( but he had become cooler towards me again. this was the first time the 3 of us had been together in a while. i saw him drink a full 40 of tequila because he was on probation and got drug tests. he did crazy **** like climbed 100 foot tall construction frames. that summer he went to rehab. apparently he stole a gun out of a car. that fall he went to another youth reform center. now hes out, but i dont know how long he'll last.
